The Maple Shelter is a medium sized shelter that is located on the outside of the circle drive just east of the pool. This shelter is Called the Maple as there are several Maple trees in the area of the shelter. The Maple is one of the original shelters in the park and dates from 1928. The shelter has been upgraded electrically to handle crock pots and coffee makers, etc..The Maple is popular because it is adjacent to the pool and campground. It has a large shaded area behind it for games.
