The Paul R. Glick Memorial Fund

The Paul R. Glick MEMORIAL FUND was established in 1993 following Mr. Glick’s death at age 85.

This memorial fund was established by his wife of 55 years, Virginia (Pearce) Glick as a means to continue his care and concern for Meadowbrook Park in Bascom, Seneca County, Ohio, where he spent many enjoyable hours as a child.

The purpose of this fund is to grant the annual income from the fund to be used by Meadowbrook Park.

The generosity of Mrs. Glick has helped support the swimming pool, maintain the park facilities, and generally help the park trustees keep the park in good repair for the enjoyment of its many visitors and campers.

Paul R. Glick was born in Bascom, Ohio, in 1907 to Adam and LuLu Corrigan Glick. He attended school in Bascom and graduated in 1925 from Fostoria High School and in 1929 from Miami University.

He married Virginia Pearce in 1937 and they became parents of two daughters, Mrs. James (Linda) Conway of Williamstown, Massachusetts, and Mrs. David (Sally) Ricci of Loa Altos, California.

Mr. Glick enjoyed a 22-year career with the Proctor Gamble Company, beginning in the cost accounting department in 1950 and retiring in 1972 as director of traffic.

The Board of Trustees of The Tiffin Charitable Foundation meets at the end of each quarter.

During the first quarter of each year, the income earned by this fund in the previous year is granted to Meadowbrook Park, Bascom, Ohio.
